Swearing

I am not sure if I think swearing is completely bad, not saying it’s a good thing but because I swear and its a habit when I talk in conversation whether I’m angry or just in general I think it is only bad and wrong when people use that kind of language towards others in a wrong manner.

Gambling

It might start of has a bit of fun, but once addicted to gambling it can be very dangerous and can hurt others. So many things can happen when involved in gambling such as, getting into debt, stealing, selling possessions and most importantly hurting the ones you love. I think people should only gamble if they can control themselves and know their limits. For those who get carried away are not just gambling with their lives but others lives as well which just isn’t fair.

Nursing Homes

A relative of mine was put into a nursing home and sadly passed away yesterday. I’m not intended that the nursing home was to blame as she was old and had been ill for a while. However the last time I saw her at the nursing home, I found out she hadn’t been taking her tablets, they had just been left on the table, even though it was the responsibility of the staff at the nursing home to make sure she had her tablets, which would have obviously made her better. There is no love or care at these places and even though it is very stressful to look after an old and sick person, people should never trust or put them into nursing homes because you just don’t know what awful things they are capable of doing and it just isn’t worth it.

Gangs

I think people who are members of gangs are only in gangs because they think it's cool and that they will be respected more by others. It is usually mostly associated amongst youths and this image is protrayed mainly by society and the media. Gangs are known to do bad things and cause trouble, they are also very intimidating to people passing them, by themselves or in smaller groups, but those passing should not feel intimidated because most likely they are just little immature lazy bums.

Adultery/Cheating

What is the point of being with someone if you're just going to cheat on them? Obviously you be with someone if you love them and it can't be true love if you can cheat on them. I would class even kissing has cheating on someone, however flirting is still wrong because that is what leads into other things.
When people get married it's meant to be because they are in love with each other, so why would anyone be unfaithfull to the person they love and are in love with. People should not get married if they are not ready to be committed to one person for the rest of their lives. Adultry is pointless because all it does is cause hurt for everyone involved even those that are innocent like if children are involved, it is also a selfish act because the sinner is not thinking about the consequences of their actions and others around them who will get hurt.

FATTY & skinny

Its so not fair...why is that all foods that taste good are always unhealthy?

I think all people who are overweight and are likely to die because they are obese should not worry because least they lived their lives enjoying what they ate and not stressing about how they looked.

http://www.dh.gov.uk/en/Policyandguidance/Healthandsocialcaretopics/Obesity/index.htm

However, all the underweight people shouldnt worry either because least they lived thier lives looking good and keeping healthy (well at least in their eyes they think they look good and are healthy).

Suicide

Suicide is the most selfish thing anyone can do, not only do they make their family and friends get over their death but a death that was caused by themsevles. A person who decides to commit suicide is a coward and is just selfish in thinking that they are the only one to go through hard times in their life. Never do they think twice about others who are worse off than themsevles; and the train or car driver who hits and kills them, making them feel like committing suicide because for the rest of their lives they wont get that image out of their heads and will call themselves murderers even though its the fault of the person who committed suicide. I think its stupid and they need to get a bit of backbone, deal with the challenges life throws at them and stop thinking about people who are better off and start thinking about the people who are worse off than themselves.

Comment to http://sanah143.blogspot.com/
I think this blog is correct when it says that committing sucide or trying to commit suicide is selfish and you should think about others such has parents, spouse, children and siblings. I agree that they may have low self-esteem but like the blog says they should think positive as bad days never remain forever.

Abortions

This is just totally wrong and I completely disagree with abortions. I hate even saying the word it gets me so angry and makes my blood boil that a humanbeing thinks they have the right to take away somebody elses life before they have even been born and lived it. There is only one person that can make that decision which is God. I think this is just horrible and cruel and there should be no such thing as abortions as this is just another word for murder.

Comment to http://bloggers-better-know.blogspot.com/
This blogger is so true in saying "what gives you as a humanbeing, the right to take away the beginning of a life". For the people that think abortions are okay because they are not humanbeings yet, well you should have a look at the pictures on this blog which clearly shows and states that they are.

Cannabis

Cannabis is less harmful than other drugs yet this is illegal and the others are legal. I think whether smoking tobacco or cannabis is like the same so it might as well be legalised. It is practically legal anyway because of how common it is and how easy it is to get it.

Comment to http://stealing01.blogspot.com/
I agree with this blog, even though i do not prefer any kind of smoking and can't wait for the new law to come in July (no smoking in public places) and would not want marijuana to become legalised i do think because of how easy it is to get hold of it and how common it is, it is virtually legal anyway.

Alcohol

Isn't it weird that alcohol is one of the worst drugs and most harmful to your body if used wrongly yet it is legal. However it is said that drinking can be healthy for the body if kept within the required number of units. It is only dangerous if consumed over the maximum limit of units and on a regular basis. Drinking has just become a fashion statement as well as smoking for youngsters, there is no moral to drinking now before you could link it to a celebration or relaxing after a hard day but now it is just a habit and alcohol abuse because they are abusing themselves.

Vaisakhi

Vaisakhi is a religous festival for Sikhs which celebrates the birth of the Khalsa. It is an enjoyable event which has a fun packed fair at the end of the Vaisakhi parade. This festival is very family orientated and comes round once every year in April. However, it is ruined by people from other religions. Unfortunatley this year it led to mutiple murders. I think its ridiculous and people should respect other people's culture and beliefs in the same way they respect their own.

Bad Cinema

Movies like kids and kidulthood are not actually bad, I think that they are useful for both parents and children in this society to let them know and get an understanding of the kind of things that can and do happen. They make everyone think twice about their actions because whether your the parent or the child you would not want any involvement of them kind of things to take place in your life. However sometimes they may look appealing to others and influence them to behave and act on what they have seen in that type of cinema.

Tattoos and Body Piercing

Tattoos and body piercings look good, it just depends on where you get them and how many you have. So far I have one tattoo on my lower back; but i do want some more, on my arm, the back of my neck, my foot and on the top left of my back. I also have body piercings, and guess what, i still want some more. I think that if you do not go over board and stay in control they just add a little and jazz up a plain body. I got to say though when people have them all over their bodies and lose control that is what makes them look nasty, but that is just my opinion.

Comment to http://salmabi.blogspot.com/2007/04/tattoos-and-body-piercing.html
I totally agree with this blog i think that certain tattoos and body peircings look good but when people go to the extreme and cover themselves with tattoos and body piercings it does look abnormal and kind of scary, but i suppose it is down to an individuals personal choice has it says in this blog.

Prostitution

I think that prostitution is simply getting money in return of providing sexual activities. If a person has a different intention to you when giving you money or material things then i would not class that as prostitution because the person on the recieving end has not got the same intention as the person providing, that falls into using someone because they are getting something without giving something back in return.

Racism

I feel very strongly about this issue especially as i am an indian. Even though racism is being treated in a better way now i still believe more can be done. Many people commit suicide or inflict self harm on themselves as a result of racist bullying. Even though racism has never affected me i know people that have been hurt by it and that is why i believe racism should be stopped.

Drink Driving

This is one of the worst things anyone can do, not only are they risking their own lives but also pedestrians around them. It is proven that your reaction speed is slower once you have consumed a certain amount of units of alcohol. It is a relief to know that something is being done about this matter as someone i know has been jailed for this offence, but disappointing that others can injure or kill innocent people passing by and get away lightly with community service. I really do think something more sufficient should be done about this matter.

Smoking

Yes i can not wait till July, its finally here no smoking in public places. i think that smoking is nasty and all smokers are selfish because not only are they harming themselves but others around them. The most funniest thing is when they buy their box of fags can they not read or is it just that they want to die because it says it clearly in english 'smoking kills'.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/medical_notes/473673.stm

Comment to http://sharon-beingbad.blogspot.com/
I am also glad that from the beginning of July people can not smoke anymore in public places because it is not fair on people who dont smoke to inhale other peoples smoke and harm their bodies from second hand smoke which is just as bad as smoking themselves. I also agree that smoking is just a waste of money and smokers could actually buy something useful instead of harmful with the money they spend on cigarettes.

Stealing

i think that all kind of stealing is bad because even if it is a little thing that someone is stealing like a pack of sweets, it is wrong because it does not belong to them. However there are different levels of stealing and obviousliy stealing a flat screen tv is worse than stealing a pack of sweets but it falls into the same category if asked what were you doing, the answer would be stealing.
